Seeking People with Depression Who Also Regularly Drink Alcohol to Participate in a Clinical Trial

Researchers at Johns Hopkins University are seeking individuals with depression who also drink alcohol to participate in a research study looking at the effects of psilocybin, a naturally occurring psychoactive substance found in mushrooms. The study will investigate psychological effects of psilocybin, including whether or not it can help with depression and drinking.
Volunteers must be between the ages of 21 and 65, have unipolar depression, and no recent history of drug abuse other than alcohol abuse.
